2025 Hockey

Winter Comp runs from end of April/May through to September (over terms 2 & 3).

We have competitive and non-competitive grades that cater to all levels of skill, fitness and age.

The 2025 Season sees a new and improved format for our competitions!

JUNIORS HOCKEY

Hookin2Hockey "Minkeys" Program

• Target Ages: 4-9years of age
• Saturday Mornings (approx. 9am)
• Skills clinic + mini games
• Joey (soft) ball + Minkey Goals
• 45min duration sessions
• All clubs participate together as a group

Hockey Hotshots Program

• Target Ages: 8-11years of age
• Saturday Mornings (approx. 10am)
• 20min Skill Clinic + a Game (2x 15min halves + 5min half-time)
• Quarter field + use of Blue circle
• 6x field players
• Joey ball + Junior Goals
• No penalty corners
• Clubs play each other in a non-competitive format (no scores/ladder)
• Instructing Umpire

• Target Ages: 10-12 years of age
• Saturday Mornings (approx. 9am)
• 2x 25min halves + 5min half-time
• 7x field players + 1x Goal-keeper
• Half field + use of Orange circle
• Regulation ball + Junior Goals
• Modified penalty corners (4 on 3)
• Clubs play each other in a competitive format (overall scores/ladder)
• Development Umpire

• Target Ages: 12-14 years of age
• Saturday Mornings (approx. 10am and 11.30am)
• 4x 15min quarters + 2|5|2min breaks
• 10x field players + 1x Goal-keeper
• FIH rules and regulations
• Full field + use of White circle
• Regulation ball + Regulation Goals
• Clubs play each other in a competitive format (overall scores/ladder)
• 2x Paid Junior Umpire

• Target Ages: 14-16 years of age
• Thursday Evenings (approx. 5.45pm and 7.20pm)
• 4x 15min quarters + 2|5|2min breaks
• 10x field players + 1x Goal-keeper
• FIH rules and regulations
• Full field + use of White circle
• Regulation ball + Regulation Goals
• Clubs play each other in a competitive format (overall scores/ladder)
• 2x Paid Junior Umpire

Kids over 16 years of age play in the Seniors Competitions.
