School-aged kids in School Years 3-6 & 7-12 are invited to join us for FREE 'pick-up' hockey games.

THE DETAILS

No prior experience required, we encourage friend groups to come and try together.

Join us for 1 week, or all 4!. Sessions will be run on Monday Afternoons over 6, 13, 20, 27 Feb '23

Session 1: 4.30-5.15pm = School years 3-4 & 5-6
Session 2: 5.30-6.30pm = School years 7-9 & 10-12

Just show up (no need to rsvp).

THE FORMAT

10min warm-up to introduce basic hockey skills to start
1/4 field games with sideboards
Field players only (no GKs)
Indoor/summer hockey rules (modified for the age-groups to match skill and safety)
Pick-up style --> Number of players will depend on how many kids turn up each week.
Bibs provided to allocate teams.
Softer "Joey" ball for safety
Nil scoring. Promote Fun (not formal rules).
